Natal Property

Natal - the City of the Sun - is established as the leading beach destination in Brazil and benefits one of the best climates in the country; with a yearly average temperature of 27 degrees centigrade. The weather is predictably sunny almost all year long.

Located at the northeast tip of Brazil, Natal is the closest point to Europe in Latin America.

Flying time is less than 8 hour from the United Kingdom. Thomson Holidays recently chose Natal as their premier beach resort in Brazil.

Natal is a peaceful modern city with shopping centres, cafes, bars and restaurants. The major attraction is the coastline with over 250 miles of beaches where you can get you own piece of paradise. Natal's environment is a natural treasure with the second purest air in the world.

The state government has been actively supporting and promoting tourism and the area has seen massive infrastrucutre investments. Within the next five years close to $2 billion U.S. dollars of investment are expected along the coastline of Natal.

The government is building the biggest airport in South America in Natal, which will make it a transport hub for the continent. The boom in the economies of Singapore and Dubai show the benefits of being a regional hub. The airport is due to be completed by June 2009.

The northeast of Brazil is also the destintation of preference for Brazilians with close to 2 million tourists arriving in the state of Rio Grande do Norte (of which Natal is the state capital) each year.

In 2002, the state of Rio Grande do Norte welcomed 147,000 foreign tourists. In 2005 this number was 344,000, an increase of 134%. In the same time period, the increase of foreign tourist visting Brazil was 48%, a clear indication that Natal is the area leading the boom in tourism.

For the property investor who seeks to maximize capital growth while minimizing risk, this is the best time to invest since property prices are extremely low in comparison to what they are expected to be and at the same time there are strong signs that the area will become even more popular. The property market in Natal is now in that stage and offers investors an unique chance to get early in and benefit from many years of growth.
